About us
Kotor Visit is an independent guide for visitors to Kotor, Perast and the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro. We are travel lovers, and we made it to put in one place what you need to plan the visit: official prices with the date we read them, opening hours, how to get there and practical tips.
We are not the municipality of Kotor, its tourist organisation, or the operators of the cable car, the museums, the ferry or any other site we describe, and this is not an official website of any of them. We are not connected to them or to their trademarks or slogans, we do not use their logos, and the names and marks belong to their owners; we use them only to describe the places and services.
Tickets for the city walls are sold at the municipal ticket offices, and the cable car sells tickets through its own channels. The tours and activities presented here are sold by our booking partners, who are third parties; if you book through our links we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. We do not show tour prices, because they change with the date, the group and the currency: the partner’s page shows the price.
Facts about prices, hours and rules come from official sources, and we say when we last read them (23 October 2026). Where sources disagree we say so rather than pick one. Distances and driving times are our estimates from map routing, without traffic or border queues. History comes from public-domain period guides, cited with the page. Photos come from Wikimedia Commons under the licences shown on the photo credits page. If you notice a mistake, write to us and we will correct it.
